Since the creation of TrackDesign, we knew that thriving in this fast paced and globalised world meant to have the necessity to work and think about an international dimension since we did our little first steps, by using also, the incredible and big support given by the internet and the digital world. 

This wonderful opportunity of tools, besides the effort we put in taking part into important design fairs for our first two years in London, has given to both of us the chance to get to know each other and start this amazing collaboration.

With a background in architecture, ArqiAtelier designs beautiful, contextual spaces and products, each carefully and lovingly curated to enrich the lives of others with meaningful impact. Lucia and Chris are explorers and their creations are conceptually very interesting. It helps to ensure that each works hard in.veryday environment, but equally stands alone as an artful expression.

Lucia and Chris share with us, passion for research in design and materials which can be mixed together to form astonishing products, minding always the right solution for the specific and always different spaces they are working on.

So far, it’s been wood, due also to the specific machines they own in their workshop in Battersea, their core subject and thanks to their natural inclination on experimenting always new designs and solution they decided to stand for our project and in particularly Corten steel!

Wood and Corten have given rise naturally to stay together in the same object. The different shades of brown and the sensorial contraposition of cold and warm in touching them, are something which couldn’t leave anyone indifferent.

Since the very beginning of this collaboration, we can really say to having been amazed by the consistency of these two young professionals. They have a been a flood of ideas so far, which they have shared very enthusiastically with TrackDesign. 

That’s why we can’t wait any longer to show you the fruits of our partnership in next days, sure to have seen just the beginning of something will last for a long time!
