SCRINEUM | Corten bookcase

The Scrineum bookcase takes its name from the Latin term for the place where the most precious books were kept — in those days, the very rare ones. Puglian designer Domenico Dibello thus created an essential object that links the ancient and the modern, paying tribute to the priceless value of books, unchanged through the centuries. The bookcase adapts to any space in the home: it can divide rooms or be set into a masonry niche to optimise and personalise the spaces to furnish. The piece includes integrated light points placed between the perforated-sheet parts. The cuts in the Corten let light pass through and create original plays of light.
