Fondato nel 2011 da Elena Albricci, architetto, e Claudio Fiumicelli, designer, entrambi provenienti dal Politecnico di Milano. In questa realtà confluiscono le rispettive esperienze professionali maturate in ambiti affini ma distinti: Elena affianca alla professione di architetto quella di ricercatrice e di responsabile dell’archivio presso Fondazione Franco Albini, Claudio collabora presso affermati studi di design e al contempo allarga i propri interessi professionali ai campi della grafica e del web design. Lo studio di progettazione, con sede a Milano, si caratterizza quindi per competenze che spaziano dall’interior design alla comunicazione digitale. Partecipa alle edizioni 2014 e 2017 del SaloneSatellite riscuotendo interesse di critica e avviando collaborazioni con aziende in Italia e all’estero. L’edizione 2017 vede lo studio selezionato da La Rinascente, tra 650 partecipanti, per l’esposizione e la vendita dei propri progetti presso lo store di piazza Duomo a Milano. In due occasioni partecipa alla fase finale del concorso Young&Design che premia i migliori progetti in produzione di under 35 alla Milano Design Week. Il tratto distintivo dei progetti dello studio è la costante ricerca di un equilibrio tra forma, funzionalità e racconto, traendo ispirazione dalla tradizione del design italiano. «Amiamo gli oggetti essenziali, esteticamente risolti e che possano entrare in dialogo nei più diversi ambienti. Devono perciò avere personalità ma non devono mai essere sopra le righe. Insomma ci devono assomigliare un po’, anche “caratterialmente”.»
