The focal point of the platform, which offers over 40,000 products from more than 1,000 Italian artisans and brands in the furniture, home décor, lighting and lifestyle categories, is to bring out a heritage, very often not exalted for what it should.
“I think that we Italians totally lack the concept of entrepreneurial communion. We should team up more and be less protagonists to compete with other countries. Made in Italy is still recognized around the world for quality and craftsmanship but we should learn to take one step back to take two steps forward. Our French cousins have been excellent in this and the strength of the luxury conglomerates is proof of this".
Artemest today, April 18, 2023, in Via Cesare Correnti 14, Milan, on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2023, opens the doors of L'Appartamento, an elegant Milanese apartment from the 1930s curated by six international interior design studios.
Trackdesign becomes an integral part of the furnishings of the Living area by Kingston Lafferty Design: to increase the sense of discovery and challenge the typical conception of the living room, the studio has designed a central element: "The Cube". The cube serves as both a sculptural interlude and a “space within space” and backdrop to every experience, reflecting and echoing the beauty, perspective and detailing of the apartment's original finishes.
The chosen product is a combination of perfect design and emotional balance: AESTUS. By now a must of our company, an icon of elegance, geometry with an essential design modeled in metal creates a great visual impact in any interior space. Aestus transforms and follows the flow of time, growth becomes exponential. Matter adapts.
''Good design goes beyond the individual elements: harmony, balance and magic must be achieved in every environment and capture moods, emotions and atmospheres capable of attracting and connecting all the senses.'' Kingston Lafferty design
The Aestus coffee table was born from an idea of Antonio Ammirabile, founder and CEO of TrackDesign, in collaboration with the arch. Vincenzo Minenna, who took care of the modeling for the creation of an elegant and minimal object starting from two simple sheet metal folds. Aestus tells the world how it is possible to create a valuable object without the need for stylistic arcs and superfluous rigor. By connecting golden figures that communicate its balance, Aestus is a marriage of different architectural styles.
