Cantiere C. - Facciate Edili

The project for the new façade of the institutional headquarters C. was created with the aim of defining a strong architectural identity and enhancing a company that plays a leading role in the innovative energy sector.
The intervention includes the construction of a double metal skin made of micro-perforated sheet metal (or mesh panels), wrapping the building and harmonising with the large windows and the existing structural elements.

Architecture and functionality
The ventilated façade ensures:
- Solar protection and reduced energy consumption
- Natural ventilation of indoor spaces
- Dynamic visual effects with light and transparency
- Aesthetic continuity with the building’s architectural language

The cladding has been designed to avoid the demolition of existing floor slabs, keeping balconies and terraces fully usable.

For fixing the panels, a substructure made of 100x50x4 mm aluminium box profiles was created, anchored with steel brackets and integrated into the existing reinforced structures.

A solid and lightweight system, designed to last over time.
