Custom Carbon Steel Staircase
Design and construction of a two-flight carbon steel staircase for a private home in Altamura, Italy, made up of 42 steps in perforated sheet metal (Ø20 mm holes, 5 mm thick). A robust, made-to-measure solution that combines industrial aesthetics with functionality, blending into the contemporary character of the interiors.
Two-flight structure
First flight of 23 steps (28 cm tread, 17.5 cm rise) and second flight of 19 steps (38 cm tread, 20 cm rise), for a total of 42 steps, 850 mm wide.
Custom perforated sheet metal
Steps made from powder-coated perforated sheet metal (Ø20 mm holes, 5 mm thick), giving the structure a lighter, textured look while keeping it solid and safe.
Handrail and finishes
Integrated handrail on one side, designed to follow the staircase without breaking the visual continuity of the rooms.
