Urban Furniture — Polignano a Mare
The project was born from the need to redevelop a public space with elements of strong architectural impact. A project that marks an important step for TrackDesign, which expands its expertise by integrating concrete with traditional metalworking: in-house design, attention to detail and integrated production management, for a single point of contact able to turn an idea into a concrete, functional and recognisable space.
Precast concrete benches
The precast concrete benches, with a sandblasted finish and polished seat, become the focal point of the project: solid volumes, clean lines and a strong material presence, designed to blend harmoniously into the urban context. The configurations studied — an «X» shape, an «L» shape and a linear layout with 45° angles — are not simple furnishings, but design solutions that organise the space, encourage gathering and define pathways and rest areas.
Integrated LED lighting
The integration of LED strips with their power supply, already fitted during fabrication, completes the project with discreet, functional lighting that enhances the structures even in the evening hours.
Galvanised steel balustrade
To complete the project, TrackDesign produced and supplied a hot-dip galvanised carbon steel balustrade, 110 cm tall and over 45 linear metres long: a technical yet aesthetic element, with handrail, uprights and anchor plates designed to ensure safety, stability and long-term durability.
