Description
The two-metre-tall floor lamp simulates a small piece of metal architecture that becomes an illuminating "domestic monument". The warm tones of Corten enhance the function of the light and the iconic character of the object. Designer Francesco Paolo Maria Giuliani compares the coloured fabric cable to an umbilical cord that reaches the light source and projects, through the decorations on the shade's sheet metal, a unique play of light and shadow. "Il Rifugio della Luna" is the floor lamp — elegant and slender — that lights up any interior with originality.
